"BRAND NEW HIGH BUDGET MUSIC VIDEO FOR OUR NEW WEST COAST POWER JAZZ SINGLE "I LOVE SOCIETY (OIL! OIL! OIL!)"" read a short, sweet Wednesday night Tweet from Victor "Kool A.D." Vazquez's re-united high school Hardcore Punk band, PARTY ANIMAL. Seated behind the drumkit, Vazquez is joined by buddies Loren Moter, and Malosi. PARTY ANIMAL make some pretty bare-bones, loud, fast, comedy-filled, good time-havin' Hardcore and "I LOVE SOCIETY"'s a prime example. It's 49-second music video re-appropriates found footage of 3 musically-inclined 80's robots, which is intro'd by a "women be shoppin'" sound bite. PARTY ANIMAL's self-titled debut was uploaded to Bandcamp back in February and it's 19 tracks clock in right around the 20-minute mark. These guys kinda remind me of the Punk Rock that I first "cut my teeth" on from 12-15: Black Flag, Misfits, Fugazi/Minor Threat. But whether or not PARTY ANIMAL will ultimately stand the test of time like their forefathers remains to be seen. Kool A.D. & Loren Moter have teamed up with super-producer Amaze 88 to form Future Grammy Winners and they're supposedly working on an AWESOMELY-titled mixtape, "Bohemian Rap CD."
