The accompanying Modcast #66 Press Release (jokingly/wrongfully) describes this varied, hour-long mix as, "A medley of hits performed live at the Island Diamond Dance Hall in '87 by Bobby Boomerang and his band."
In all reality, it's a promotional mix(tape) that was issued along with select retail copies of Cut/Copy's new album, Zonoscope. Now "A Tale of Two Journeys" has been liberated, made available for free online by the band's label, Modular.
A small sampling of the artists included in said mix: Fleetwood Mac, Shuggie Otis, Ace Frehley (KISS),The Brothers Johnson, "A Guy Called Gerald"
