Again working with director David Fincher... This time on the American adaption(s) of The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and its companion sequels ("The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest"). Over Memorial Day Weekend, a "red band" (R-rated) teaser trailer for the Dec. 2011 film was released along with The Hangover, Part 2. Soon after Pitchfork's Tom Breihan reported on its sheer existence, the clip was leaked online. Already being toted as "The Feel Bad Movie of Christmas [2011]," initial glimpses of Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, as well as other actors, in character can be seen.
A preview of the highly anticipated Reznor/Ross soundtrack can also be heard... In the form of an "Immigrant Song" (Led Zeppelin) cover, as performed by Trent Reznor & Karen O. of Yeah Yeah Yeahs-fame. Expect to see a secondary ["green band"] Dragon Tattoo trailer in theaters and online around June 2nd.
