AIR CREDITS' Steve Reidell & SHOWYOUSUCK Talk New Album BELIEVE THAT YOU'RE HERE (The Witzard Interview)

"Up until this point, AIR CREDITS have brought back many warnings from the near future. After endless ricochet between timelines, the band has found themselves aligned with the present one. The moment is now. BELIEVE THAT YOU'RE HERE," reads the Artist Description/Bio found on the Bandcamp page for Chicago-based AIR CREDITS. Initially consisting of Aaron "ABX" Brink & Steve "STV SLV" Reidell from production/mash-up duo The Hood Hood Internet and emcee/producer SHOWYOUSUCK around 2016. Brink has seemingly parted ways with AIR CREDITS (but remains one half of The Hood Internet) in the years since forming and their current line-up consists of Reidell & SHOW. AIR CREDITS have released a number of critically-acclaimed albums, EP's, and singles over the years, but have been relatively quiet since 2018's Artería Verité with Doomtree members SIMS & ICETEP. Although, now, we are happy to inform you the wait is over... as AIR CREDITS dro...

Before jet-setting off to SXSW March 15-16th for a secret showcase with ?uestlove & RJD2 , Justin Timberlake stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for Night 5 of what's being dubbed, #JustinTimberWeek . Ramping up the long-awaited release of The 20/20 Experience this upcoming Tuesday, March 19th , Timberlake decided to string together a medley of greatest hits for the last performance of his week-long stay @ Late Night: "Like I Love You/My Love/Cry Me a River" and "Señorita." Joined on-stage by his 10-piece band, The Tennessee Kids , Justin Timberlake launched into a slow-building acoustic/electric performance that ended up lasting almost 11 sweltering minutes! Anybody else notice that saucy-looking Spanish or white chick singing back-up and cuttin' a rug!? "It feels like something's heating up, can I leave with you?" is what I'd like to holla @ a beautiful girl like that... to which she'd likely reply, "I don'...

That Girl Is Poison: Whitney Houston - "When The Night Knows" (The Hood Internet Mash-Up)

In the wake of R&B/Pop songstress, Whitney Houston 's untimely death this past weekend, an a cappella version of "How Will I Know?" from her self-titled debut (1985) seems to have emerged. Now a batch of aspiring young Dance producers have already started transforming Houston's vocal into their own unique, buzz-worthy edits for 2012. The particular remix featured here @ "The Witzard" is in fact a mash-up from The Hood Internet; In addition, STV SLV also made good use of Chromeo 's infectious single, "When The Night Falls" [instrumental] from their 2010 Electro-Funk revival record, Business Casual . The Hood Internet 's not so cleverly dubbed bi-product, "When The Night Knows," which quite fittingly, now has an underlying air of "Ghetto Fabulous" -ness. Whitney Houston 's sudden death really is a shame because not only did she make great long-lasting Pop music, she was somebody's mother, ex-wife, ...
