3 Feet High & Rising: San Diego Punk Super-group Share "Remember Me" Music Video from Dog Years EP Featuring Members of Flogging Molly & The Last Gang (Cyber Tracks)
Rising San Diego Pop-punk super-group URETHANE has unveiled their brand new two-song EP, Dog Years, which is now available world-wide, via Cyber Tracks. Lifted from the extended player, the infectious sing-along Punk Rock anthem, "Remember Me," features Brenna Red (The Last Gang) on vocals and Matt Hensley (Flogging Molly) on accordion. The song was produced, engineered, and mixed by Cameron Webb (Alkaline Trio, Motörhead, Social Distortion, zebrahead.) Featuring two professional Hall of Fame skateboarders (Steve Caballero, Matt Hensley,) the official music video for "Remember Me" directed by Mario J. Rivera was premiered earlier this week on iconic skateboard magazine THRASHER's online site. "I was watching The Real Buddy Holly Story that [Sir] Paul McCartney wrote in the early 80's," says bassist Chad Ruiz. "In one of the interviews, Buddy Holly's brothers sang this melody that instantly got trapped in my head. Throughout the years, it was always on my bucket list to turn this melody into a Punk anthem. An anthem of love, hope, friendship, and prosperity."
Guitarist, professional skateboarder, and cultural icon Steve Caballero adds, it's "our best music video to date." The music video takes place in a dive bar as URETHANE performs on stage with Brenna Red & Matt Hensley while producer Cameron Webb slings drinks behind the bar and visual artist Mark de Salvo calmly burns. URETHANE perform and trug through a live rendition of "Remember Me" like true professionals as all sorts of calamity ensues all around them throughout the charismatically zany bar. Coinciding with Dog Years, special limited edition autographed copies of their debut album, Chasing Horizons, on gold vinyl, as well as colorful new variations of black/orange splatter, orange crush, p*ss yellow splatter, and classic black are available, via Cyber Tracks' webstore. URETHANE formed during the infectious Pandemic in 2020. The line-up consists of vocalist/guitarist Tim Fennelly (War Fever,) guitarist Steve Caballero (The Faction, Odd Man Out, Super Cool Tough Guys,) bassist Chad Ruiz (Skipjack,) and drummer Dylan Wade (ex-The Bombpops.) Their musical roots are undeniably influenced by Punk Rock, Skate Punk, 80's Hardcore, and Melodic Hardcore. URETHANE's new Dog Years EP is now available on streaming services and the Chasing Horizons multi-colored vinyl variants are available for pre-order from Cyber Tracks.
