Dodge himself either is or was part of Ancient Chinese Secret, Angry White Boys, Bacteria Cult, Burn Your Bridges, Despise You, Duh, East/West Blast Test, Electro Static Orchestra, Hellnation, Infest, Lack of Interest, Legion of Doom, Low Threat Profile, Marxbros, No Use for A Name, Pig Heart Transplant, SPAZZ, Stikky, To The Point, and, most recently, Trappist. Across their 17 years of operation, Slap A Ham released a number of novelty records 1-2" in size that were released as non-playable "toy" records; most notably, SPAZZ's own Funky A$$ Lil' Platter 1" Noise E.P. It all started just a few days ago, when I saw a post on F*CKED UP frontman Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham 's Instagram page ( @leftfordamian .) He was teasing a then-upcoming episode of his weekly podcast, Turned Out A Punk , featuring Chris Dodge from "The Beastie Boys of Hardcore," SPAZZ . A photograph of @mrchrisdodge was surrounded by images of No Use for A Name , NOFX frontman Fat Mike, CROSSED OUT , Kool Keith , Southern Lord Records , Melt Banana, and The Melvins . I ( @sharpcheddar856 ) posed an exclamatory question through comment, "Woah, now, what's Chris ' relation to Kool Keith !?" Fellow Instagram Punker @bengonzales815sl soon Replied: "@sharpcheddar856 Kool Keith did a guest spot on a SPAZZ record," which I soon learned, was in fact, SPAZZ's 1997 album, La Revancha . Ancient Brewing Tactics by Trappist TRAPPIST is are a band of Los Angeles -based beer enthusiasts consisting of Chris "Brother" Dodge , Phil "Brother" Vera , and Ryan "Brother" Harkins .
