Sa-Ra Creative Partners Reunite for Shafiq Husayn's The Loop 2xLP Bonus Track "If You Miss You Kiss You" Feat. Jon Bap (Nature Sounds)

Sa-Ra Creative Partners, or simply "Sa-Ra" for short, were an Experimental R&B/Hip-Hop super-group consisting of producers, vocalists, and multi-instrumentalists tAz "TI$A" Arnold, Shafiq Husayn & Om'Mas Keith. Sa-Ra were active from the mid-90's through the early 2000's and were super-productive, equally mysterious, and extremely fruitful and creative; throughout various points in their career, Sa-Ra Creative Partners were either signed to or affiliated with Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music, Sony Urban Music/Epic, Babygrande Records, Ubiquity Records, ABB Soul, Sound In Color, Domino Recording Co. Jazzy Sport, Blue Note Records, Wonderful Noise Productions, and Fresh Selects. For me, personally, my favorite Sa-Ra releases were EP's Glorious + Rosebuds, Double Dutch (Co Co Pops) / Death of A Star (Supernova,) and The Second Time Around, as well as 2007 Babygrande full-length, The Hollywood Recordings.

Although, Sa-Ra's reign was short-lived, unfortunately, as their last releases were 2009's "Love Czars II" with Jay Electronica & Ta'Raach and a Japan-only 12-inch EP entitled "Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love." Now, nearly 10 years after their last activity as a group, tAz Arnold, Shafiq Husayn & Om'Mas Keith have effectively reunited for a nearly 7-minute track. "If You Miss You Kiss You" is a Bonus Cut from the North American 2xLP vinyl version of Husayn's latest star-studded Nature Sounds album, The Loop. It features Om'Mas Keith & tAz Arnold (Sa-Ra) along with Dolfin Records' Free Jazz rising star, Jon Bap, as well as players King Karnov, Colin Devane, Matt Little, and Gyo Bunchy. Shafiq Husayn's The Loop is currently available in a number of formats from Nature Sounds/Eglo Records and according to @tazarold, S A - R A "has been smoking weed and recording new material..."

"Greetings, planetary citizens of Earth, Nunnu Nunnu, peace, and The Sun be upon you. I have a special offering that may be of some of you all's interest. We have a Sa-Ra sighting in the form of a bonus song from The L∞P. It was going on the VENTURA album for Anderson .Paak, but he had so many good records that he couldn't find a place for it, but I do (((in my sinister smirk, while rubbing my hands together!))) A thought came to my mind... what if?........... so, right before taking "Jungle Madness" for mastering, I called my brother tAz [Arnold], who felt a certain way about not being on the album. I had this song called "If You Miss You Kiss You" written by Jon Bap, King Karnov, and myself with no second verse yet and no vamp. So, stars aligned and we met up at Om'Mas [Keith's] studio, Whitelines, and (((BOOM!))) Cosmic Dust all over again. I hope you take this to heart and know that there will be another Sa-Ra."

"Let Me Shine for You:" Lindsay Lohan for Playboy (Winter 2011-12 Leak)

Lindsay Lohan essentially embodies exactly "What NOT to Do In Hollywood :" Fame, fortune, success... sex, drugs & Rock "N" Roll . Within a fairly short period of time, Lohan somehow managed to obtain a plentiful helping of POWER @ a very young age. This gradual rise-downfall was captured on film; Between 1998-2010, she portrayed a wide array of roles across the silver screen in movies including: Mean Girls, Bobby , Herbie Fully Loaded , Georgia Rule, Machete , and Freaky Friday . Between rapid-paced film shoots, Lindsay Lohan also found time to record 2 Pop Rock albums for Casablanca , Speak (2004) and A Litter More Personal-Raw (2005). Needless to say, Lindsay Lohan has gotten roped up in a lot of troubles and woes with the law over the last 3-5 years... a vicious cycle of drugs, arrest, court, rehab, "daddy issues," jail time [Repeat]. That's the pure basics of it - But Google that shit for additional info, if necessary. Towards the end of...

Jet Planes, Islands, Tigers On a Gold Leash: Lorde - "Royals" (The Weeknd Remixo)

I think it's pretty safe to say that The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) comfortably teeters the fine line between glitched-out smooth New Age R&B and hard-hitting Hip-Hop ; while the same could arguably be said for 16-year-old New Zealand new-comer, Lorde . Her break-out single "Royals" 1/2 jokingly shouts out semi-common bravado-worthy shit like: diamonds, "gold teeth, Grey Goose ... Cadillacs, Cristal, Maybach ... jet planes, islands, [and] tigers on a gold leash." But now, the Lorde/Weeknd connection has been further solidified, as Tesfaye recently managed to conjure up and release his own "Royals" remix. My beautiful girlfriend said earlier, and I paraphrase, that it "makes her wanna dance lol and she could [likely] hear this remix in a future movie!" Following the wide-spread release of her first 2 EP's (Love Club & Tennis Court) , Universal Republic plans to unleash Lorde 's proper debut album, Pure Heroine between ...

Pop Artist & Surfer Chronicle Intriguing Ex-Pornstar In "SASHA GREY."

Seemingly made to co-exist as thought-provoking companion pieces... "LINDSAY LOHAN" directors Richard Phillips & Taylor Steele are back with their most recent Art Presentation, "SASHA GREY." The 90-second short film was shot in early May @ John Lautner Chemosphere House in Los Angeles, CA. Both striking flicks will be shown on a giant floating video screen [ "Commercial Break" ] @ Garage Center for Contemporary Culture in Venice, Italy (June 1-5). "Adult acting chops" aside, Sasha (23) seems very intelligent, captivating, free-spirited, business savvy, well-mannered, charming... and dare I say, "average." And I really think that's exactly what Phillips/Steele were trying to convey throughout the course of the piece; Grey's beauty, public draw, sheer likeability, and honesty will surely take her very far in future endeavors...
