FOUR ELEMENTS & BEYOND Emcee WRD Life Teams Up with UK Producer Four Limbs for Apollo EP (Bandcamp Exclusive)

Four Elements & Beyond (F.E.B.) is an American Hip-Hop group from New York. They're known for their sample-based beats, intricate lyrics, and live show. Members include Freak Tha Monsta (emcee/producer,) Miggs Son Daddy (emcee/artist,) and WRD Life (emcee.) They've been active since about 2011 as solo artists, various duos, and a three-man certified neck-snapper of a group. F.E.B.'s latest project is a five-track EP from WRD Life & Four Limbs called Apollo. "I go by the artist name WRD Life. Raised in Queens, NY 7-9 Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, to be specific. Been rapping since forever," WRD Life exclusively told The Witzard. WRD said his influences consist of Kool G. Rap, Nas, Big Pun, AZ, Big L, Half A Mill, Ghostface Killah, Wu-Tang Clan, and his Four Elements & Beyond family.

"As far as this project, man, [I've] been fortunate enough to work with Four Limbs outta The UK. Extremely talented brother," WRD Life added. "I'm a work horse when it comes to music and its hard to find one with the same hunger. Four [Limbs] has that same motor, plus, he got heat for days. Salute to him," WRD Life told us, via email. WRD Life said he has a lot of who he is as an artist on Apollo. It starts off with "Queens Kids," one of his favorite songs he recorded in 2021. WRD Life Got to shed some light on his upbringing for the many that can relate. He's loving the feedback for "Stand Up," which has received a lot of well-deserved spins, thus far.

We reached out to Four Limbs directly, as well, who told The Witzard: "for me, it was about putting in a lot of work quickly, while still getting a quality project out fast. I wanted this to be a fresh representation of the work I'm doing now." He feels like he and WRD Life clicked on the dark production, but assures, "it's not your carbon copy of everything out there." They intentionally wanted it to be "dark," but still sound super-organic, using breaks and Abstract Jazz samples, but turning them into dark, raw Hip-Hop. "Working with someone who could rhyme on any beat I threw his way, that was super-refreshing. We kept the vibe correct throughout, but we got different tempos and feels. You could just flow on all that with ease," Four LImbs explains. WRD Life & Four Limbs' Apollo is exclusively on Bandcamp at press time.

[W]reckless, Topless American Youth: Lana del Rey - "Born 2 Die" (Britney Spears Birthday 30)

Lana del Rey [Lizzy Grant] effectively became 2011's "It Girl" with the release of her phenomenal debut single, "Video Games" (Stranger) . Like many struggling singer-songwriters, Grant has been signed, dropped, and significantly changed her public image since bursting onto the scene (2009). With that said, it can be assumed that Lana del Rey has collected just as many "haters" as she has avid supporters. To be perfectly honest, the only other artist I can think of that made this much commotion... garnered so much wide-spread buzz/hate and critical acclaim -- right out of the gates -- with just one track is Britney Spears . And maybe in this post- Mike musical era, that's the true synthesis of Pop Culture: Britney Lynn Spears . After months of repeated teasing and speculation, Lana del Rey 's major label debut, Born 2 Die will [finally] be released this coming Jan. 30-31, 2012. Pitchfork reports that it will feature "Off to The Ra

"Let Me Shine for You:" Lindsay Lohan for Playboy (Winter 2011-12 Leak)

Lindsay Lohan essentially embodies exactly "What NOT to Do In Hollywood :" Fame, fortune, success... sex, drugs & Rock "N" Roll . Within a fairly short period of time, Lohan somehow managed to obtain a plentiful helping of POWER @ a very young age. This gradual rise-downfall was captured on film; Between 1998-2010, she portrayed a wide array of roles across the silver screen in movies including: Mean Girls, Bobby , Herbie Fully Loaded , Georgia Rule, Machete , and Freaky Friday . Between rapid-paced film shoots, Lindsay Lohan also found time to record 2 Pop Rock albums for Casablanca , Speak (2004) and A Litter More Personal-Raw (2005). Needless to say, Lindsay Lohan has gotten roped up in a lot of troubles and woes with the law over the last 3-5 years... a vicious cycle of drugs, arrest, court, rehab, "daddy issues," jail time [Repeat]. That's the pure basics of it - But Google that shit for additional info, if necessary. Towards the end of
