Dave Hause is a Punk-adjacent guitarist/vocalist and singer-songwriter hailing from Philly. Hause has played with a number of Punk/Hardcore bands over the years, including The All Brights, The Curse, The Falcon, The Loved Ones, Paint It Black, Step Ahead, and, now, his own Dave Hause & The Mermaid. Hause has been dropping his own solo music since 2011 starting with Resolutions on Ex-Less Than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello's own Paper + Plastick imprint. Huase has since released a slew of successful albums, EP's, and singles in the years since—all the while touring alongside Social Distortion, The Avett Brothers, Bad Religion, The Gaslight Anthem, Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music,) The Bronx, and Tiger Army. Hause likley achieved his greatest breakout solo success with 2019's KICK on Rise Records. Following up two successful companion EP's, Patty & Paddy, in 2020, Hause released Blood Harmony on his own Blood Harmony Records late last year.

"So, here is "Without You." This was the fourth song we wrote for Blood Harmony and still is one of my favorites from that session... I am so honored to have Alex Skolnick play guitar on the track; I've been a fan of his playing and of Testament for 20 years. Mike Webb's piano drives the song, along with Chris Powell & Garry [Tallent]... and, then, Tom Bukovac, Sadler Vaden, and Alex take us into guitar heaven, which was the general idea we were gunning for... good God did they deliver. ENJOY!" Dave Hause recently shared within a charasmatic Facebook post. Hause shared a bit more information on "Without You," as well as his plans for the start of 2022, within a recent installment of his Hause HQ Newsletter, which we've included down below the break. Dave Hause's "Without You" is now available on your streaming service of choice.

This next year is going to be jam-packed with new music and it starts with "Without You." This was one of the first songs we wrote for Blood Harmony and I am still kind of shocked we didn't put it on the record. It features THREE guitar solos from some of my favorite guitarists: Sadler Vaden, Tom Bukovac, and, in a mind-blowing turn of events, Alex Skolnick from Testament. I have been a MASSIVE Testament fan since I was a kid and I'm so grateful Alex lended his talents to the song. You may have heard it in the end credits of The Making of Blood Harmony. In addition to the new song, at long last, we're thrilled to have another vinyl pressing of Patty/Paddy.

Selling out of the first pressing was such a milestone for Blood Harmony Records and if you didn't get a chance to get your hands on the first batch, we released some from the reserves in the European Store. The new pressing is on a beautiful silver color. Also, to celebrate the five-year anniversary of Bury Me In Philly, we have new sweatshirts to show your Philly pride as The 76ers finish strong and head into The Playoffs. You can get them both HERE. Lastly, a couple of exciting show announcements. Also, we are adding our old friends, Chuck Ragan & The Camaraderie to the Los Angeles & San Francisco shows. We're playing venues he can sell out on his own, so get tickets while you still can. After two years, I almost can't believe we head back out with the band for tour in just a couple weeks. Hope to see you there.

[W]reckless, Topless American Youth: Lana del Rey - "Born 2 Die" (Britney Spears Birthday 30)

Lana del Rey [Lizzy Grant] effectively became 2011's "It Girl" with the release of her phenomenal debut single, "Video Games" (Stranger) . Like many struggling singer-songwriters, Grant has been signed, dropped, and significantly changed her public image since bursting onto the scene (2009). With that said, it can be assumed that Lana del Rey has collected just as many "haters" as she has avid supporters. To be perfectly honest, the only other artist I can think of that made this much commotion... garnered so much wide-spread buzz/hate and critical acclaim -- right out of the gates -- with just one track is Britney Spears . And maybe in this post- Mike musical era, that's the true synthesis of Pop Culture: Britney Lynn Spears . After months of repeated teasing and speculation, Lana del Rey 's major label debut, Born 2 Die will [finally] be released this coming Jan. 30-31, 2012. Pitchfork reports that it will feature "Off to The Ra

"Let Me Shine for You:" Lindsay Lohan for Playboy (Winter 2011-12 Leak)

Lindsay Lohan essentially embodies exactly "What NOT to Do In Hollywood :" Fame, fortune, success... sex, drugs & Rock "N" Roll . Within a fairly short period of time, Lohan somehow managed to obtain a plentiful helping of POWER @ a very young age. This gradual rise-downfall was captured on film; Between 1998-2010, she portrayed a wide array of roles across the silver screen in movies including: Mean Girls, Bobby , Herbie Fully Loaded , Georgia Rule, Machete , and Freaky Friday . Between rapid-paced film shoots, Lindsay Lohan also found time to record 2 Pop Rock albums for Casablanca , Speak (2004) and A Litter More Personal-Raw (2005). Needless to say, Lindsay Lohan has gotten roped up in a lot of troubles and woes with the law over the last 3-5 years... a vicious cycle of drugs, arrest, court, rehab, "daddy issues," jail time [Repeat]. That's the pure basics of it - But Google that shit for additional info, if necessary. Towards the end of
