The 2010 debut album from Metal/Pop-Punk Supergroup, The Damned Things is out now on Island Def Jam. Ironiclast mashes the heavy riffs/rhythm sections and Pop-tinged choruses/melodies of the members' varied previous endeavors - Anthrax, Fall Out Boy, and Every Time I Die. The LP is said to be an updated version of Classic Rock, strongly influenced by childhood favourites like Thin Lizzy, Led Zeppelin, and Ram Jam (the band name was even lifted from a "Black Betty" lyric). Scott Ian, Keith Buckley, Joe Trohman, Andy Hurley, Rob Caggiano, and Josh Newton show their "true colors" (nerdy sides) in the track's playful' comic book-like clip. The damned Things are currently playing dates nation-wide, as part of the "Jäger[meister] Music Tour." A trek which runs through Feb. 24th, and also includes Buckcherry, HELLYEAH, and All That Remains.
